A Story
Several years ago I went to a two-week intensive study program designed for high school teachers. It was a great experience. The last night after a delicious dinner we took turns standing up in front of the group and giving a summary of our reports. My turn... I launched into my presentation ... cat calls, boos ... "what are you doing, showing off?" ... it took me a minute to realize I was the only one who wasn't speaking from notes.
